Application Information for
FairPoint Next Step Graduates

If you graduated from the FairPoint Next Step Program with an A.A.S. degree in a technical subject, you may apply to Pace University for the Bachelor of Science in Professional Technology Studies, Telecommunications Concentration Degree.

Since your Associate's degree is technical in nature, you may need to complete additional course work in order to fulfill the 32-credit liberal arts requirement for entry into the B.S. Program. Generally, FairPoint Next Step graduates are short 4 liberal arts credits. This requirement can be fulfilled by taking an extra 4 credit liberal arts course in your first semester. As a first time user, follow the prompts to 'Create Your Account'. Please be sure to indicate the Bachelor of Science in Professional Technology Studies, Telecommunications Concentration as your major program in the application.

Pace University requires a $50.00 application fee. While the application fee is owed at the time you first apply, it is customary to pay this application fee at the time you pay for your first class.

Your next step is to submit your official transcripts to Pace. After all your transcripts have been reviewed, you will be advised concerning your course of study and whether or not you will need to take classes to fulfill the liberal arts requirement.
