Proctor Examination Process

Prior to the Day of the Examination
  • You should review and print out a copy of the Proctored Exam Information for details pertaining to your examination. This is located within your course under the COURSE INFORMATION button. Your proctor will also receive a copy of this form, which will include the necessary password to access your online examination.
  • Contact your proctor to make sure he/she has received the necessary Proctored Exam Information. Then set up a date, time and location for your proctored examination.
  • Print out a copy of the Student/Proctor Verification Form
Any examination received without a verification form will not be valid.

On the Day of the Examination
  • A valid photo I.D., such as a driver's license, must be presented to the proctor.
  • You are responsible for bringing any necessary supplies such as, pens, pencils, paper etc.
  • You may bring with you any specified resources as detailed in the Proctored Exam Information.
  • You must bring with you a copy of the Student/Proctor Verification Form and fill in the necessary information.
  • You should cover any mailing expenses if your examination or verification form needs to be mailed back to your instructor.
  • Your instructor will determine the time limit on the examination as detailed in the Proctored Exam Information.
  • You are not allowed to copy any questions down to take with you after the examination.
After the Examination
  • Sign the Student/Proctor Verification Form. An examination received without the Student/Proctor Verification Form will not be valid.
  • The proctor should return the completed examination, unless it is directly submitted via computer, and signed verification form.
  • Your instructor will send you an email notification upon receipt of your completed examination and verification form.
  • Once the examination has been graded and recorded, your grades can be accessed through Blackboard.
