If
you find that you need to select a new proctor at any time during
the course of your participation in the Pace University/NACTEL
program, please take the following steps:
a)
Obtain
the necessary information to complete the Online Proctor
Application by using the Sample Proctor Application form. Your proctor should return it
to you when it is completed so you can enter the information
directly online.
b)
Access
the Proctor Application System to add your proctor and create an
Online Proctor Application Form. You will need your password
to access this system. Once you submit your proctor's information,
you will be instructed to print the form.
c)
When you submit your proctor's information,
the application is submitted online. In addition, any new
proctor must have the completed Online Proctor Application
Form notarized and sent to Pace University. If the proctor
is from an official testing service or learning/tutoring center,
the form does not need to be notorized, only signed and returned
to Pace.
d)
You will
receive email notification upon approval of your proctor.
e)
If this is a temporary change, do
not inactivate your current proctor's account. If, however,
this is a permanent change and your initial proctor will no
longer be availalbe -- you may inactivate the account by selecting
Invalidate Proctor.
f)
Pace will then send your proctor a
copy of the Proctor Guidelines and Proctored Exam Information
for the class(es) you are taking.
g)
You are responsible for any fees charged
by the Proctor.
Alternatively,
you may also select from our database of existing proctors.

the Proctor Application System to search for existing proctors within
your company or that work or live in your area.
b)
Select a proctor from the list and
make contact to make sure he or she is available.

If the
person you've chosen agrees to serve as your proctor, select
Add a Proctor from the Proctor Application System. Type in
the proctor's last name and zip code to select him or her
as your proctor. Print out a copy of the Online Proctor Application.
d)
This form must be signed and returned
to Pace University. Since your proctor has already been approved
by Pace, the form does not need to be notarized.

upon approval of your proctor.

Once
approved, log on to the Proctor Application System and select
Designate a Primary Proctor. Select the new proctor.
