Veteran Benefits

Pace University is fully approved to conduct college-level education programs for veterans.

Robert Rahni will be your contact person at Pace University for veteran's benefits. Please contact him for any assistance with or any questions related to the approval process. Any documentation should be sent directly to him. Due to confidentiality issues it will be up to you to keep in direct contact with him throughout the process. Personal and career counseling, assistance in completing applications for veteran's assistance, and outreach and placement are all available through this office. Veteran students are urged to use these services and are encouraged to check at least once a semester on the status of their enrollment certification.

If you believe you are eligible to receive these benefits, you must do the following:

Step 1: Email NACTEL Billing Department
You must notify the NACTEL Billing Department that you will be applying for these benefits. An email that includes your complete name and contact information should be sent to nactelbilling@pace.edu.

Step 2: Application for VA Benefits
The eBenefits - Homepage is your primary starting point. Instructions to establish a Premium account are located here. EBenefits is a secure access point for information on all your VA benefits.

IMPORTANT: For Question 22B on the form - "Have you selected the specific Program of Education you plan to take?"
The answer to that question must be either of the following depending on your degree selection:

AS - Applied Information Technologies
BS - Professional Technology Studies

Step 3: Fax a copy of your benefit documents to Pace
You will need to obtain directly from the Veteran Regional Office a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), which states which benefit you will receive and how much of it percentage wise the VA is covering. In addition, a copy of their DD-214 form is required. Once Pace receives the letter and form we can begin the certification process. These documents should be faxed to Robert Rahni at 914-989-8789.

Step 4: Email veteranaffairs@pace.edu after you have registered for classes so our team can certify your benefits with the VA. Please Note: Every semester you must be officially registered and payments submitted in order for VA Benefits to be applied.
