Pace Computing Society: Speaker Series

The Pace Computing Society returned for another semester and presented the Pace community with a host of diverse topics presented every week by different speakers. From Pace faculty, such as Darren Hayes, to students, such as Zahid Mahir (CS '14), and industry professionals such as Staff Security expert Andrea Cotoranu, the weekly speakers always proved intellectually stimulating. Two speakers that stood out this semester were David McKinnis CTO of who spoke about the skills needed to be a CTO and author of "Twinkie, Deconstructed" Steve Ettlinger who talked about his new project - sourcing all the parts of the new revolutionary device, the smartphone. We can't wait to see who will be bringing insightful conversations regarding tech and career development to 163 William Street next semester.

Women in Tech Panel

Pace Student Julie Gauthier attended last month's Women in Technology event and was kind enough to write about it for our blog. Read about her experience at the event and meeting all the wonderful female technologists.
