To help make the process easier for you, Pace has a NACTEL Advisor
whose only job is to help students choose the right classes at the
right time to ensure their success in the Pace University/NACTEL
programs.
A Message from Your Advisor, Nancy Treuer
Hi, and welcome to the Pace University/NACTEL program. As a graduate
of Pace University myself, I can tell you what a great school it
is, and how much you'll enjoy the classes and instructors. I graduated
in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in
Management Information Systems.
I've been serving as the NACTEL Advisor pretty much since the inception
of this online degree program. In this role, I've had the opportunity
to work with a lot of very interesting people all over the country,
and I look forward to "meeting" you.
Since this is an online program, most of our contact will be via
email or over the phone. When you first apply, I will review your
application and all your assessments, and will discuss with you
what classes you might consider taking first. This will be based
in part on your past experience and your assessments, and in part
on what I've learned from others who've come before you (I've gotten
good feedback from students on what courses they feel were helpful
to them at the outset). After that, anytime you need advisement,
simply contact me via email prior to registration. I am happy to
provide advisement as well as some direction as to what courses you
might consider taking next, including some guidance on how many
classes to take and which to take before others."
Basically, I'm your first stop when you have questions
about your classes.
