Dr. Gregg Ramsay

Courses Offered/Role in Department

Dr. Ramsay is currently teaching Computer Applications for Office 2000, as well as the four new advanced modules of Computer Applications -- each focused on a different application including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. In addition, he teaches the Academic Skills Seminar and Integrity Issues in Telecommunications for the Pace University/NACTEL program.  He also co-teaches the Prior Learning Assessment Seminar with Professor Fred Dreyfus.

Dr. Ramsay was with the United States Air Force for 22 years, serving as a meteorologist and working on a variety of weather-related initiatives.  In addition to this, he has held positions at colleges and universities worldwide focused on Aerospace studies, as well as computers and information management systems.

Additional Information

Dr. Ramsay has a B.A. in Business Administration and Corporate Finance from Upper Iowa University, an M.S. in Systems Engineering and Information Resource Management from Webster University, and a Ph.D. from LaSalle University in Educational Theory and Management.  He is the author of Information Systems in New England Public Schools.
