Proctor Requirements

To qualify as a proctor, the individual must meet the requirements listed below. You can either identify a new proctor, or select from our database of available proctors in your area.

Once approved, the information on your proctor will be stored in the Proctor Application System, where you can make any changes necessary to contact information or status. This person can remain your proctor throughout the remainder of the program, or you can designate a new proctor at any time – either temporarily or permanently. Please review the Proctoring Application Process for more information.

In the event that your primary proctor is unable to administer a specific examination during a particular course, you can simply select from your list of back up proctors -- if you have identified any -- or you can select from Pace's existing database of proctors for one or more exams.

Consortium of College Testing Centers
This link will take you to a map of the United States. If you click on a state, you will be given a list of college testing centers. If you don't have anyone in mind to serve as your proctor, you might find this site helpful. However, there are many other colleges that might offer testing centers. You should try to contact a local college/university near you.

KnowledgePoints Learning Centers
This document will provide you with a listing of KnowledgePoints Learning Centers throughout the U.S. If you find a location near you that you would like to have your exams proctored at, you should log into the Online Proctor Application website. Click on ‘Add a Proctor’ and enter the Last Name and State. That will bring up the KnowledgePoint location. Follow the prompts to complete the online application. Print out and fax to the location for their signature only. They can then fax it directly back to Pace to be processed.

Responsibilities

  • Receive the proctored exam information containing the necessary password to access the examination
  • Access the examination via computer using the supplied password. Since the exam can only be accessed once inside a course, the student (you) must be present to log in using your username and password.
  • Return the completed examination if not directly submitted online and Student/Proctor Verification Form

*PLEASE NOTE: Any fees charged by the proctor will be the responsibility of the student.
